Fairfax, Va. Lines: 24 Someone mentioned that Micro Mainframe was the only place to get LIM boards for the Tandy 1000 series. And this person mentioned that Radio Shack carries the same board. There is at least one other source. A company called "Computer Mechanix" sells lots of stuff for Tandy machines. In fact, they make sure everything they sell works correctly on the intended machines before selling it. Their expanded memory board for any Tandy 1000 (except HX/EX) costs $149.00 with 0K. Maximum memory is 2 Megs. They sell 256K sets for $35. NOTE: You can have FOUR of these boards installed, for a total of EIGHT megs! I've haven't tried these guys (sold my 1000), but they seem OK. Toll free order number is 1-800-448-1436. They can send a price listing. NOTE: They also sell HIGH density drive kits for the 1000 series!!! If anyone buys from them, let me know how it went - as I have a 3000HL and might be looking for new stuff soon. --- George Klimes Graduate Student, CS
