Message-ID: <519@wraith.cs.uow.oz> Date: 22 Feb 90 10:15:11 GMT Organization: Dept of Computing Science, University of Wollongong, Australia Lines: 19 I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who is using transputers in telecommunications applications, maybe things like video compression/decomprssion, protocol conversion, protocol handlers, data communications, etc etc Whatever really. It strikes me that, superficially at least, transputers should be a good option in such applications. I'd like to hear opinions from anyone who has actual experience of trying things out, and of any benefits or problems that were encountered. Thanks, -Ian PS I've seen the papers presented at the OUG conferences on implementing protocols and LANs, but what else is happening???
