I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who is using transputers in 
telecommunications applications, maybe things like video 
compression/decomprssion, protocol conversion, protocol handlers, 
data communications, etc etc 

Whatever really.

It strikes me that, superficially at least, transputers should be a 
good option in such applications. I'd like to hear opinions from 
anyone who has actual experience of trying things out, and of any
benefits or problems that were encountered.

PS I've seen the papers presented at the OUG conferences on 
implementing protocols and LANs, but what else is happening???
