Lines: 14 Does anyone out there know of any 3rd party repair service for the D-machines ? I've an 1186 whose power-supply inside the monitor seems to be wearing out (can't seem to handle the large draw of current from almost black screen to white screen when one logs in after a long idle time -- screen image shrink briefly upon login accompanied by a small cracking noise). Xerox told me that they'll have to replace the whole monitor and it's going to cost over $700. Just wondering if anyone know of any 3rd party repair that would provide cheaper service/replacement or any cheap/quick fix to it. The machine is working fine otherwise. -- Eric Ho Princeton University eho@clarity.princeton.edu
