Message-ID: <1990Feb16.174050.2473@icc.com> Date: 16 Feb 90 17:40:50 GMT Organization: Intercomputer Communications Corp. Lines: 13 I'm looking for a way to divide the terminal screen into windows or viewports, and run an application in one "window", with an interactive shell running in the other. This would be under SysV 3.2. Apparently, this can be accomplished with "screens," but only on BSD systems. Is there a SysV port of this, or something else that I could use? These are dumb terminals. There should be some way to switch between the win- dows. The shell is /bin/sh. Need to be able to run everything from the inter- active window (rn, vi, emacs, et al). -- Bill Weaver bbw@icc.com ...!ukma!spca6!icc!bbw 513-745-0500
