I have downloaded the 18.55 emacs distribution and am trying to build it. I am building the distribution as is except for copying the config.h-dist to config.h and changing the default m- file inside it to m-sparc.h. All the sources seem to compile okay but when the temacs program is run ("temacs -batch -l inc-vers " inside xmakefile) it immediately core dumps with a segmentation fault. I don't have time right now to look into this, and am wondering if anyone knows what the problem is. -- Robert Fenske, Jr. Sw | The Taming the C*sm*s series: Electromagnetics Division /R---\ | Southwest Research Institute | I | | "The Martian canals were the dfsun1.electro.swri.edu 129.162.160.4 \----/ | Martians' last ditch effort."
