Ari,

There are 4 different series of machines on which AIX is running:
- PS/2's with a 386 CPU
- RT's, like you are working on
- RS/6000's the last week announced new IBM workstation line
- 3090's and similar big IBM computers

To learn X-Windows you have just to peek into the 'IBM AIX X-Windows User's
Guide', this is one of the smaller manuals you'll have. To get started with
programming I use the 'Xlib Programming Manual' (ISBN 0-937175-26-9).
