Actually, my current belief is that rather than trying to improve the TCP/IP suite with new services, effort should be put into increasing the range of ISO/OSI functions. This may, of course mean moving OSI/ISO (I never am sure which order of the letters I should use at which time :-) functions into an Internet currently based on TCP/IP services, in the long run, as the Internet migrates in the OSI direction. Besides, everyone knows that the *true* international language will be Esperanto. :-) Richard
