I was simply replying to the poster who suggested that English be "required" for posting to the group. I just don't think communication should be thus restricted, that's all. If Germans want to post in German, why should they be told that the group's charter "requires" English only? Just as here in our beloved nordic group, no one is required to use any particular language. It so happens that English has become the de facto standard, but I'd really hate to see it be required. That's all.
