		OCLSC Systems Programmer

   The Ontario Centre for Large Scale Computation at the University of
Toronto has an opening for a highly motivated individual to help
support of the Centre's Cray X-MP/24 supercomputer and its several
front end systems.

   The Systems Programmer position requires a thorough knowledge of
the UNIX operating system, utilities, communications systems and
accounting interfaces. A substantial knowlege of the VAX/VMS operating
system would be an asset.

   The successful candidate will possess a University degree in
Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science and have extensive
experience with operating systems software, computer languages and
applications programming.
