Duties include optimization and vectorization of client programs; implementing and supporting scientific applications; analyzing user requirements and providing solutions; assisting in the demonstration of CRAY software and local and remote telecommunication services and facilities; preparing system and user documentation; and participating in various projects. Minimum Qualifications : Education : University degree. Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline preferred. Experience : Three years' related experience or acceptable equivalent of education and experience; knowledge of computer applications in engineering and modelling fields; working knowledge of Fortran and scientific libraries. Experience with networks and DEC VAX/VMS in addition to UNIX. Other : Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of users.
