This thought brings up an interesting point. That of Introduction and Dating services. I specified both since I wanted to see if people saw a difference in the two names. Kim was discussing how you really need to meet a lot of people. I find that I am a person who has trouble taking initative conversations. I also find that, once the conversation has been initated, and I find that whomever I am talking to is interested in talking, we get along fine. So, there are people to meet, but how to meet them. Intro services exist IMHO to introduce people (hence the name) Not nessesarily a 'match makeer' service. or amarraige broker. But, a service to put a person in a situation where he/she can meet more people. Let's face it. Meeting people in bars isn't all that successful. However, there seems to be a certain stigma attached to intro services. People using them are desparate, only wanting marraige, (or sex), they could be dangerous. On the other hand, I have come across articles discussing intro services in Ontario, and that the clients are just everyday people. what do people here think of Intro serverices as a way of meeting people. -- J.
