Just thought I'd offer to let everyone know that TNG is available on video
but not on broadcast in Japan.  When I was there for my honeymoon over
New Year's, the local video rental shop had about 8 videos, I assume they
are the same as the British versions which Andre Willey described in 
another article here.  Sorry I didn't have time to really analyze the 
tapes, nor rent one to check out the translation quality?!?

"Tokyo" has 4 'syllables' in Japanese; in English it should be pronounced 
with 2 syllables, To-kyo, with long 'o's.  Thank you for your attention.
