Hi birders,

I have recently come here from India, and wish to join a birdwatching, or
wildlife organisation, that may be sponsoring trips in the regions around
Los Angeles.  I should like any organisation that has reasonable dues ($25 near
abouts, annually).  It would be specially interesting if they have good
newsletter/magazine.  I have heard of The Nature conservancy, for example.
I would appreciate receiving the addresses and whatever other info, esp.
your views about the organisations.
