II it is stated that a file on the UNIXpc cannot be larger than 1 megabyte in size. Yet I have used 'cat' to create a file much bigger than that. What am I missing ? Also, there was mention on the net of a 'VIDPAL' hardware fix necessary to make use of 'MGR'. What is this VIDPAL fix? Do I need it? Where can I get a copy of KSH (8/30/86 ?), the one that is not broken? Finally, I noticed that usage of the Floppydisc system in 'UA' slows down a communication (async_main) considerably. Is this something that can be fine tuned? Is there combination of actions to avoid on this machine ? Any and all help appreciated. Michel Adam Yellowknife, N.W.T. alberta!iceman!michel or alberta!adam
