The IBM PS/2 Model 70 will have one serial port and one parallel port. We will be using OS/2 EE 1.2 (when it comes out). We need to provide printers for at least 3 locations in the building, all of which will be some distance from the server. How do you handle the distance problem (parallel booster/extenders?)? Also, what about the availability of only two printer ports (smart switch boxes maybe?)? And does anyone know if IBM makes a second parallel port card for an MCA PS/2?
