What the heck... I'm very glad there the list of subscribers to this discussion group is growing New opinions and fresh view points are always welcome. I am also very sorry some of the newer members are disappointed in the the quality of the discussion I've been on the list for about 6 months now (has it really been that long?) & while I am certainly not interested in all of the discussion topics, I do think there have been many spirited debates (does that make me sound too much like a weenie?). I do not agree with all the people on this list, but I never ex- pected to. I, for one, am very glad to have made the acquaintence of many of the people here, and hope I can meet some of them face-to-face some day. To those who are disappointed, please give the list a chance. If you are dis- appointed in the level of discussion, try a new topic yourself. I still wouldn't mind Steve's idea of literature to film. (I sent a reply a while ago-did it get lost? or was it just so stupid that no one felt the need to respond?) -jem
