See for example, from the compcon 90 proceedings, the three papers on the IBM Second-Generation RISC Machine, and then the already referenced IBM compendeum on technology, available from IBM sales people. IBM may not be perfect in terms of information availability, but for a product introduced a month ago, it's an amazing wealth of detailed and clear information.
