Keywords: T2500 HST MNP 9600 14400 Message-ID: <1990Mar4.045118.4988@altitude.UUCP> Date: 4 Mar 90 04:51:18 GMT Organization: None Lines: 25 Could someone please tell me if the newest T2500's support MNP level 5 at 9600 when connected to a US Robotics HST 9600/14400 ?? I had the chance to test out a T2000 with an HST 9600, but the best speed available was (as advertised) 2400 bps at MNP level 4. What is the MNP level used by the HST 14400 ? Is it Level 9 ? Does the HST 9600 use Level 5 or 6 MNP ??? What makes the HST 14400 go faster than the HST 9600, a higher MNP level or more Bps per channel? How efficient are MNP Level 5 2400's when reading messages such as these??? That's about it! -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pascal Gosselin | philmtl!altitude!pascal@uunet.uu.net | | Computer Connection Inc. | (514) 670-5016 CIS: 72757,1570 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pascal Gosselin | philmtl!altitude!pascal@uunet.uu.net | | Computer Connection Inc. | AppleLink: CDA0024 CIS: 72757,1570 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+
