It seems to be an exact Hayes clone (at least all the software I've tried with it to date works just fine). after 10 months, no problems yet (other than occasionally having to reset the parameters to factory defaults after encountering a Telebit). One nice feature: status LED's on both transmit & receive data lines - lets you know if there really is data moving.
