hi,
  I received a lot of mail about hooking up telebit modems on SUN4.0.3.
if anybody is interested, send me mail and i will be too glad to forward
the stuff to you.

NOW, I tried the stuff the people form telebit sent me and I get the
following messages. for the lif of me I can't figure out what to try next.
Can someone out there help out?

I set up th modem to the following settings:
AT&F s45=0 s51=5 s52=2 s53=3 s54=3 s58=0 s66=1 s68=3 s110=1 s111=30 q6 &W <CR>

I can dial out using tip tb19200 and also get garbage, when i do tip tb9600.
This was to be expected I think, since the modem is set up for 19200.

My L.sys entries are the following :

hostname Any cua1 19200 cua1 "" ATX0\r OK ATDtele-no.\r CONNECT ""\
""-\r-login:-\r-login:-\r-login: \r login: sysname ssword: xxxxxx

L-devices :
 ACUHAYES cua1 cua1 19200
 DIR cua1 0 19200

NOw, I try /usr/lib/uucp/uucico -r1 -x10 -suunet

ps: hostname was uunet on the L.sys entry

OUTPUT:
getto called
call:no cua1 for sys uunet login called
wanted "" got that
send ATX0\r
RETURN
wanted OK ATX0\0150\015\012 got ?
exit code 0

STST.uunet had LOGIN FAILED as the message.

What's the mistake I am making???
