You want something _really_ useful: here it is - To put a submitter's name in a kill file (using the 'rn' news reader, anyway) use the following procedure: 1. hit to start the edit of your local kill file 2. add a line that looks, for example, like this: /ib@apolling/h:j (this sez: look for the pattern "ib@apolling" in the header and mark that article as already read) 3. terminate the edit 4. sigh "aaaahhhhhhh" as all that stuff forever disappears from your screen.
