			       REMINDER

Partial deduction, previously called partial evaluation in logic, is
the topic of a special issue of the Journal of Logic Programming
planned for publication in 1991.  We are encouraging submission of
original papers in the foundations category that investigate
principles of partial deductions in various logical formalisms as well
as interdisciplinary contributions that explore relationships between
partial deductions and areas like, but not restricted to, machine
learning, databases, embedded languages and program transformation.
Papers should be submitted by April 15, 1990, to Prof. Jan Komorowski,
