Keywords: OS, 68030(?), "real os" Message-ID: <2317@elric.elric.Sp.Unisys.COM> Date: 5 Mar 90 19:42:31 GMT Followup-To: poster Organization: Unisys Inc., Eagan, MN, 55121, USA Lines: 13 A colleague of mine is investigating operating systems for various platforms and has come across some references to an operating system called "VxWorks". This operating system appears to be a "real os" in that it has all the trappings of unix/vms/etc type os, i.e., memory management, multi-tasking, multi-user, etc. But, he has very little information on this particular flavour of OS and is coveting more information about this OS. Has anybody used this system and/or have more information or experience with it?
