I have found the following to be a very useful source of practical hints
on software testing and software reliability in general:

	"Software Reliability Guidebook" by Robert L. Glass (Prentice-Hall).

It was published in 1979, so I don't know if it's still in print.  It
discusses how to improve software reliability both from a technical and
managerial point of view.
