I am using an HP650A on my system on a SCSI with some other storage devices and it is pretty slick. It is slower than tape backups but individual file retrieval is really nice. I do my backups on it using cpio -p. I have installed a boot area on one of the optical disks so that it can double as a disaster recovery system. Buy from whomever you wish, but it sounds like what I am doing is what you are looking for. If you are interested in a Hewlett Packard model just contact your nearest Hewlett Packard Sales Office. NOTE: I AM NOT IN SALES. #include
