I am interested in finding out, how much do the use of IP options
slows down the gateways.

I am sending TCP packets from host A to host A via gateway B. So, I am using
IP_LSRR option. Would the intermediate gateways (i.e. between A & B) take a
lot of time in processing the IP options. (How much?)

I am not a frequent reader of this newsgroup. So if this topic has only
recently been discussed, please excuse me.
