Srivastava) Organization: DSP/VLSI Group, U.C. Berkeley Lines: 27 I am interested in finding out about real-time multi-tasking kernels that are available for DSP chips like TMS320C30 and DSP32C. If any one is using such a thing, I would like to hear about your experiences. I have seen some brochures on SPOX real-time OS (from Spectron Microsystems) for TMS320C30, but would like to know about the alternatives, particularly those that do not cost much. My requirements are for a kernel with basic support for multi-tasking with pre-emptive scheduling, synchronization, communication and interrupts. Please reply by e-mail and I would summarize later if there is sufficient interest.
