Message-ID: Date: 27 Feb 90 19:13:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 22 I am at the end of my limited wisdom. I have successfully built Andrew from the X11R4 tape and applied some patches. Everything seems to work except the reading of messages. I can post messages. The mail gets placed into /usr/spool/mail/. However when I try to read my mail, "messages" gets stuck! It successfully copies the newly arrived mail from /usr/spool/mail into ~/Mailbox but then never returns. "Looking for new mail in ~/Mailbox" remains at the bottom of the "messages" window and the cursor is stuck in the "hour-glass" form. Help! Has anyone encountered this problem before? I'm a rank amateur when it comes to either Andrew or the mail delivery procedure. Thanks in advance for ANY help, Tom (e-mail: wolf@howdy.att.com or twolf@homxa.att.com) P.S. I'm running on a Sun SparcStation-1 running SunOS4.03
