Hello all,

I am interested in some good references on software validation/testing.  
Both theory and implementation examples would be great.  I do not
have a specific platform/OS in mind but references that cover from
single user through multi-user and distributed systems would be the
best.  Are there any ACM publications or conference proceedings that
cover this ?  (or textbooks, journal articles, etc.)
