I don't want to be deprived of the opportunity of seeing shareware just because other people don't want to see it. /r$ has already stated his policy of not allowing shareware in comp.sources.unix. Clearly there's no way of preventing shareware in alt.sources. I don't know what Brandon's policy is. So it seems clear that if you don't want a feed that includes shareware, get comp.sources.unix but don't get alt.sources.
