I am trying to apply level one of the patches.  I am using patch
on a Sun 4.  Unfortunately the program "patch" does not seem
to cope with the multiple files in there, or, more likely,
I am doing something completely wrong.  Can someone
help a dummy out !!!!
(I tried patch <filename> -{lots of variations of options})
to no avail.  Do I have to edit the patchfile into separate files for each
patch?

On a different note, does anyone know what the -W option does
in gcc?  I am trying to compile tinymud, and our gcc does not	
understand it.
