I have telnet/ftp software, but am looking for an "rn" newsreader for it, to access a newsserver over the network. Anyone know where I can find such a thing? Actually is there something better than "rn" - rn has a truly infuriating misfeature - there is no way to get an index of news items with titles listed (it would be nice to have a base item with "n followups" listed like Notes does) and no way at all to index already read items without un-reading them with the m command.
