    I recently went to our local Amiga dealer inquiring about
    educational discounts, as my father is a university professor
    and he could make discounted purchases for me.  I was told that
    the ed. discounts went out as of Dec 31, but there is a new
    trade-in policy in effect until March 31 that allows $1000 
    toward the purchase of a 2000 when trading in a 1000 for it.
    Sounds really good--I'm going to take advantage of it when I
    get the money in.  Just thought I'd pass the information along.
