OS/2 is much too system specific to really become popular... Unix easily portable and with some mods can be installed on just about any system with the capabilities to do so... Another thing is, OS/2 is not a fairly programmer friendly environment... MS-DOS will inevitably fall away because of it's incapability to multi-task. As long as CBM keeps coming out with improvements on there OS, it would be a great OS for a computer with it's power.
