I can't say what it does internally, but I will mention something about it that a lot of people don't seem to know because it isn't stated in the 1.3 enhancer manual: You can use FF to replace the default Topaz system font with any 8-bit font of your choice. I have a font called plain.font. In my startup sequence I say FF plain.font and both the Topaz 8 and Topaz 9e fonts get replaced (if I only had plain 8 defined then only Topaz 8 would be replaced). ALL text that is normally the system font will now use my font. One other thing -- don't put a comment on the same line as FF, or it won't work. -- /// Alex Matulich /// Unicorn Research Corp, 4621 N Landmark Dr, Orlando, FL 32817 \\\/// alex@bilver.UUCP ...uunet!tarpit!bilver!alex \XX/ From BitNet use: bilver!alex@uunet.uu.net
