Did the performance > increase? The two 68000 sit there pretending to be a 68010 - I believe one does the work, and the other pretends it's a MMU - but I may be wrong. I can't see replacing them with 68010s being any use. The best way to improve performance would be to get hold of the processor (2 boards) & boot processor (1 board) out of a 660 - people *must* be throwing them away by now... - then you'll have a *real* computer (68020 look-alike).
