Interesting. I have a 10Mhz Rocket Chip, and have been able to speed up the SSC in slot 2 to fast mode. Although I only have 2400 baud, the difference is noticeable, since when proterm draws up the main menu, it sends AT codes to the modem, and when the SSC is on slow, the menus draw up as slowly as when I operate at 1 MHz. In fast mode it blazes along.
