  The COMPUTE! book, "Mapping the ATARI" 2nd ed. has a bit of info
  on using the expansion port. I don't think any 3rd party 
  manufacturers have taken advantage of it, though. Mail me your
  snailmail address and I will mail you the book; I have an extra
  copy lying around.
