I have a few questions, the first one dealing with a problem I am having with my computer. I have a 1040 ST with a tweety board, monitor master, mouse master, mono and color monitors, printer, modem, external drive. Once in a while, I'll try to boot up the computer and I'll get a 'drive A does not respond' message. I'll unplug drive B and the system will boot fine. I had this problem a few days ago, and we thought it was the cable going from the drive to the ST. Apparently, this is not it. Today, I was using my st for quite some time, doing some stuff involving lots of disk access. I turned off my computer, and turned it back on a few minutes later and got this problem. Fooling with all the cables did nothing, and it worked with drive B taken off, of course. I walked away, came back 10 minutes later and everything worked fine. What in gods name could be going on here? Also, does anybody know of a program to control the drive speed of a 5.25 inch drive that works with Tos 1.4? -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= * Christoper Roth * "Machines have no * InterNet : cr1@beach.cis.ufl.edu * Conscience..." =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Post No Bills-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
