The env_style controls the format of environment variables in memory. The
"gulam" or "mw" style is the format used by the Mark Williams C runtime support.
In this format, an extended command line is passed to called programs by
sticking a variable "ARGV=" in the environment, etc.

I've never used any of the other style(s?) and don't know what they represent...
