I am new to downloading things from FTP sites to a C=64, I have an Amiga and
a C=64, but I have only transfered files with the Amiga.  

 1)  When I get things from the site, fo I use binary mode or ASCII?

 2)  when downloading from my system account to my C=64, can I use 
     xmodem protocall on the system and on the C=64?

 Any help would be appreciated.
