My 1541 thinks there is a permanent write protect tab! I can read files fine, but I cannot write anything to any disks, it gives me a 'write protect' error. Does anyone know how to fix this? I think it is a software problem turned hardware problem. I recently got the newest version of Kermit from a friend, who neglected to inform me that the 'kermit-boot' file was for C128's. So I loaded it and ran it. It gave a 'no block' error. THEN I listed it and found it was for C128. Ever since that point I have been unable to write with my disk drive. PLEASE HELP! thanx in advance. -Mark Halstead -- -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- __ Life is like a two-player game...but you start with only one joystick. //\\ --- __\\//__ Disclaimer: This post is not really here, whatever you think `--..--'____Warning:___ you read, you imagined. || |Avatars have| `' | less fun. | path: ...decvax!yale!spock!gandalf *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
