When I used Xmodem to transfer files between the C64 and the VAX-VMS I got mixed results. With some terminal program the transfer would commense at all, with others the files would be transfered distorted. I had the most success using CCGMS terminal program which allows me to upload a file to VAX just fine, but not download. I think you will have better luck if the system is an UNIX. The commands for transfering files via the Xmodem protocol is: Download from Unix, sx -b Upload to Unix, rx -b If Xmodem doesn't work for you, the only other options is Kermit. Although Kermit is slow at transfering, it is a sure thing. Sincerely, Scott K. Stephen
