Perhaps someone can help me? There is a modem that I can dial in on, so I assume that I can dial out. (hopefully!). Were running VMS 5.2, using DCA hardware for the net (I dont think its DECnet). I just cant seem to find the port that the modems connected to. I dial into the VAX on one machine, and do SHOW USERS/FULL to see what port Im at, hang up, and at the main console, SET HOST/DTE node where node is the port shown to be before. No dice. Is it possible? Thanx in advance. Billy D'Augstine Azog-Thoth@cup.portal.com
