He has been working on the HP-28S for some time, but has no access to email or netnews yet (maybe by tomorrow :-). In the course of the conversation I found out that he has met the challenge given in the Meir book to find a syseval for translating arbitrary strings to names. #044EDh change string to name !! there MUST be a string on the stack !! #26753h change anything to string (like ->STR but 'ABC' is changed to "ABC", not "'ABC'") These were discovered by Rick Gravelle.
