I have a Sharp PC-1211, which is what Tandy badge engineered into your device, and I have exactly the same problem (different cause tho'; it slid out of its hard case and hit the *underside* of a corner of the desk.) If Tandy are giving you bad service (don't they always ;-) why not try Sharp. As I say, the calculators are identical. Best of luck, and let us know how you get on! Tim.
