Message-ID: <63320010@hpl-opus.HP.COM> Date: 28 Feb 90 19:57:24 GMT Organization: HP Labs, High Speed Electronics Dept., Palo Alto, CA Lines: 12 I recently heard a rumor that there will be a new and improved release of Windows 386 in the Spring. Among other fixes, there is suppose to be better isolation between windows, so that if a program bombs in one window, pro- grams in other windows won't be dragged down. This is a problem that I have heard exists in the present release. Has anyone else heard about a new release? If I buy the program now, will I get a free (or low-cost) upgrade from MS? Perhaps I should wait for the new version, if it indeed is in the works. tom
