The boards work very well it has 9600 baud send and receive, background receive,and software that is pretty intuitive to use.  I bought one for myself a 
couple months ago.  The price seems a bit high though what is Cdn$ in US$.

The Genesis Computer Corp.  sells the FAX96 for $195.00 (US).
