PCs can support two controllers. Most controllers have a jumper which
selects either the primary or secondary disk controller address. The
problem is that the bios does not support having a second controller.
Anna Books sells C source for IBM PC and AT compatible bios programs
which can be modified to support second floppy/hard disk controllers.
Anna Books advertises in many PC magazines in the classified
sections.
