I would be very greatful if some of the pc guru's could give any advice. The problem : I recently purchased a copy of DOS 4.0 and attempted an installation on my 3.3 formatted ST-250. It seemed to install ok, but on the first reboot, the computer jumped back with a Non-system disk error. Upon reinstallation of 3.3, I get the same message. Questions : (1) Fundamental - will the XT work with anything higher than 3.3? (2) If 4.0 won't work, any suggestions on getting 3.3 running again? For now, things are working just fine with an A: boot and I have full hard drive access, but situations are slowly getting desperate.Once again, any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
